About the Role:TheRevenuePlanningAnalystwill play a critical role in enabling revenue growth for S&PGlobalsMarket Intelligence business. This position will involve collaborating closely with internal teams including sales operations finance and marketing tooptimizeRevenue Planningprocesses and manage sales territories effectively. The successful candidate willleveragetheirexpertisein datasystems and analysis critical thinking and cross-functional collaboration to drive performance improvements and enhance the experience of our revenue professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue PlanningProcesses:

  • Support MI GlobalRevenue Planningprocesses to ensure alignment with businessobjectives.

  • Ensure team structures rollups and territory attributes are accurately captured in Varicent.

  • Support Varicentleadinmaintainingrevenue team roster andcollaboratewith revenue support teams to ensure alignment across functions.

  • Engage Revenue Performance Partnersin annual planning process toaccomplishgoals relating to timelines data collection and plan assignments.

  • Manage queued requests for territory changes gathering appropriateapprovalsandensuring that established processes are followed.

Data Management and Integrity:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for data input files related toRevenue Planning ensuring the integrity of data withinRevenue Planningsystems.

  • Support planningleadinmaintainingrevenue territory data assets including sales performance metrics and territory definitions toidentifytrends and areas for improvement.

Sales Planning Tools:

  • Define andmaintainterritory definitions aligned with businessobjectives ensuring territories are accurately loaded andmaintainedin Varicent.

  • Conduct territory reviews in response to attrition or other ad-hoc business events as.

  • Manage hygiene of territory rules and team hierarchies in Varicent

  • Support Varicent productleadin running day-to-day operation of Varicent and executing Varicent enhancement roadmap.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their business challenges and opportunities fostering collaboration across internal teams.

  • Engage withcommissionsexecution team to ensure clarity ofplan types compensation details and ongoing application of quotasduring the course ofthe year.

  • Partner with theRevenue PlanningLeadto load quota data into Varicent and ensure that end users can access necessary data and insights for effective planning.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze territory performance metrics andassistwith plan phasing compiling necessary data to share with analytics and Power BI teams.

  • Ensure relevant data/reporting loads into Varicent accurately and conduct user testing prior to phase releases for annual planning.

WhatWereLooking For:

  • 2-3years experience inRevenue Planningor a relatedrevenueexecution role.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.

  • Expertisein deriving insights from data account management principles forecasting and competitive intelligence analysis.

  • Proven ability to work in a large organization and adapt to new systems and processes.

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities with experienceworking oncross-functional teams in a global fast-paced environment.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation and process improvement capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
