As a Security Officer Front Desk Specialist in Austin TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech media and telecom location as a Front Desk Officer where you will greet visitors manage access control monitor lobby activity and support security-related operations with professionalism and this highly visible role you will help to deter incidents through strong communication attention to detail and customer service while representing a team that values agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies visitor reception duties badge access support and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while communicating clearly with employees guests and site contacts.
• Monitor lobby and entry activity verify visitor credentials manage sign-in processes and help to deter unauthorized access in a professional technology-focused location.
• Answer questions provide directions and support front desk operations for employees contractors and/or guests while documenting relevant security-related events and unusual activity.
• Operate assigned communication systems and front desk tools to report concerns coordinate with site leadership and support day-to-day security-related awareness at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state county and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
