Event Specialist (Short Term)

This role supports the execution of Robloxs flagship events with a primary focus on registration attendee communications and cross-functional coordination. Working closely with the Director of Events Marketing this person will help ensure a seamless attendee experience from pre-registration through post-event follow-up while supporting additional event initiatives as needed.

Role is a 6- month temporary position

You will:

• Own registration operations including platform management attendee tracking and data accuracy
• Develop and execute attendee communication plans (pre-event on-site and post-event) ensuring timely clear and consistent messaging
• Partner cross-functionally to align messaging and attendee experience
• Support end-to-end event execution including planning on-site coordination and post-event reporting
• Maintain and manage registration lists segmentation and reporting insights
• Assist with budget tracking invoice routing and reconciliation for event-related expenses
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth on-site operations
• Contribute to run-of-show planning timelines and execution documents
• Support additional event projects as needed

• Strong experience in event registration management and attendee communications
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Resourceful proactive and solutions-oriented
• Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and event needs
