Position Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Service Delivery EUTC the Jordans Principle Project Administrator serves as the first point of contact for incoming inquiries and service requests. This role is responsible for intake client support call management and administrative coordination to ensure efficient and culturally responsive service delivery for Jordans Principle clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to incoming calls emails and referrals related to Jordans Principle services.
- Conduct initial intake of client requests gather relevant information and direct files to appropriate team members.
- Provide front-line support clients and families ensuring a respectful responsive and culturally safe experience.
- Maintain accurate and organized client records databases and filing systems.
- Assist with general administrative tasks including scheduling correspondence and document preparation.
- Support coordination of client services by liaising with internal staff service providers and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and track incoming requests to ensure timely follow-up and service delivery.
- Assist with data entry reporting and file management for program tracking and funder requirements.
- Support the team in preparing reports summaries and documentation as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information in accordance with PHIA standards.
- Contribute to a positive team-oriented work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Administrative Assistant Certificate Office Administration Diploma or related education is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative or client service experience preferably in a First Nation organization or social services environment.
- Experience working with high-volume intake or call handling is an asset.
- Strong understanding of First Nation communities culture and service needs.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook).
- Experience with databases and client information systems is an asset.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Knowledge of PHIA and confidentiality standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Fluency in a First Nations language is considered an asset.
- Adhere to organizational policies procedures and professional ethics.
- Must provide a clear current criminal record check and child abuse check.
