Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school-based setting. This role focuses on providing speech and language services to preschool and elementary-aged students helping them achieve communication and developmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess diagnose and treat speech language and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide therapy services to preschool and elementary students
- Manage and prioritize a caseload of approximately 50 students
- Collaborate with teachers parents and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Support students with speech-only and developmental needs
Required Experience & Skills:
- Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development
- Ability to manage a moderate to high caseload
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Required
- Active SLP License (Michigan) Required
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) Preferred
- Ability to meet school credentialing requirements
