We are partnering with a leading technology solutions provider in Malta to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager. This is a strategic client-facing role focused on managing and growing a portfolio of high-value accounts while also identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Reporting into senior leadership you will play a key role in driving commercial performance building long-term client partnerships and contributing to the companys overall growth strategy. The position requires a commercially driven professional with strong industry knowledge and the ability to operate in a fast-paced solutions-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and target prospects
Build and maintain strong client relationships acting as a trusted advisor and understanding evolving business needs
Lead the full commercial cycle from opportunity identification through to negotiation and deal closure
Collaborate closely with internal teams (Product Marketing Pre-Sales Service Delivery Finance) to ensure a seamless client experience
Develop and execute account plans aligned with wider business objectives
Monitor performance against targets and provide regular forecasting and reporting to senior management
Lead contract discussions renewals and commercial negotiations to ensure long-term client retention
Stay up to date with market trends competitor activity and industry developments to inform strategic decisions
Provide guidance and direction to internal stakeholders or team members involved in client engagements
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in business development or account management within the technology sector
Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and growing client portfolios
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders and maintain long-term partnerships
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
Experience working in dynamic client-focused environments
Local market experience in Maltas tech sector or a similar environment is essential
