Fiduciary & Security Trustee Manager
Job Summary
One of our CSP clients is currently seeking a Fiduciary & Security Trustee Manager to join their this role you will oversee a portfolio of fiduciary corporate trust and secured transaction activities within a regulated environment.
This is an office based role offering a salary of up to 50K.
Please note that only candidates already based in Malta can be considered.
Role & Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of trust fiduciary and secured financing structures ensuring effective oversight and compliance with governing agreements
Prepare reports and updates for senior management and governance committees
Monitor performance against contractual requirements including financial covenants reserve requirements collateral arrangements and payment obligations
Identify assess and escalate material issues relating to credit exposure security assets or breaches of agreed terms
Coordinate the setup and implementation of new fiduciary and security-related engagements ensuring appropriate legal operational and governance frameworks are in place
Review and authorise transaction-related activities in accordance with established controls and documented procedures
Oversee the administration of security assets and funding arrangements ensuring actions are executed in line with contractual requirements
Maintain accurate records filings and regulatory submissions as required by applicable laws and industry standards
Work closely with legal compliance governance and risk functions to support a robust control environment
Contribute to process improvements and the ongoing enhancement of fiduciary and governance practices
Education Skills & Experience
3 years of experience within a regulated CSP legal or financial institution
Proven experience with direct exposure to trusts security trustee mandates or structured finance
Proficiency in English at a native or near native level both written and spoken
In-depth knowledge of Maltese fiduciary and corporate legislation including the Trusts and Trustees Act and the Companies Act
Strong understanding of security structures such as pledges hypothecs conditional precedent frameworks and various debt instruments
Financially literate with the ability to interpret management accounts and complex funding structures
Strong attention to detail combined with a questioning mindset and proactive risk awareness
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with Boards regulators and senior stakeholders
