Who You Will Work With:
The vacantBusiness Management Leadrolewillreport to the Leader Corporate FP&A. The FPA Business Management Lead is responsible for governing and coordinating all financial planning and reporting cycles through structured project management calendar oversight and cross-functional alignment. The role operates as a central orchestration and governance lead and as the operational backbone of FP&A to ensure that cross-functional teams remain aligned on deadlines assumptions standardized deliverables and aligned across Products and Corporate functions.
What YouWillDo:
Project Planning & Execution - Run FP&A cycles as structured projects defining scope RACI tracking submission status and sending structured communications and reminders. Develop project plans including scope milestones dependencies and deliverables
Developing and maintaining the FP&A operating calendar month end/ forecast/ annual planning calendar key milestone aligning planning milestones with accounting close and corporate reporting schedules disciplined version control and submission protocols.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Governance - Serve as central coordination point between FP&A Product and Corporate Functions.
Planning Communications - Delivery of clear concise executive-ready communications including planning updates risks and key milestones. Ensure leadership has transparency into progress and issues. Validate storylines before leadership reviews.
Organizing and facilitating Forecast review meetings Budget alignment workshops Monthly performance review forums and Executive financial review sessions.
Assisting in the preparation of executive review materials and Board meetings.
Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement - Create SOPs for: Variance commentary Headcount reconciliation template usage. Recommending and implementing continuous improvement to the budgetary/planning processes to meet the needs of the evolving company.
Participating in special projects and ad hoc assignments as required.
Proactively identifying bottlenecks and following up to prevent downstream delays
WhatYou Bring:
5 years experience in Business strategy or communications.
Background in management consulting finance transformation or Project Management Office environments strongly preferred.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and enterprise processes.
Exceptional communication synthesis and stakeholder-management skills.
Self-starter with high degree of accountability and follow-through
Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder service orientation
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong documentation and version control discipline
Eligibility to work for Interac Canada in a full-time capacity.

The hiringrangefor this position is$105000 - $120000 and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan.
