Under limited supervision installs/repairs lock sets cut keys repairs panic hardware/Lever and knob locks etc... Key / re-key all types of MUSC systems cylinders. Lock shop is responsible for all locking devices at MUSC including High security Narcotic areas doors and equipment. Answers maintenance calls for repairing and unlocking doors file cabinets desks and lockers. Perform preventive maintenance on door hardware locking systems. Performs related and non-related duties as required.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and three years trade experience that is directly related to the area of employment. Some positions require a commercial drivers license. Some positions require EPA-approved freon recovery certification. (Continuous) Ability to qualify physically for respirator use. (Continuous) Additional New Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers license. Ability to obtain and maintain EPA Approved Freon recovery certification.
