About The Role
Cross department operations-minded project manager: you keep work moving make priority status ownership scope and delivery dates legible with low friction and manage expectations so leadership and ICs share one reality.
You report directly to the CEO and partner daily with engineering marketing product and GTM leads on plans compromises and delivery. You surface handoffs dependencies and escalation paths before they become crises using milestones critical-path thinking RAID and lightweight change control (scope/date shifts get recorded and communicated not side-channel whispers).
You are technically literate a digital native and hands-on with AI for planning comms and synthesis with judgment on accuracy confidentiality and sign-off.
You are not a passive coordinator or process monitor. You are a hands on operator turning vague asks into clear directives facilitating stuck decisions and following through. You are a force-multiplier and catalyst for progress.
Scope you dont own:
- product strategy / roadmap calls
- people management for other functions
- code or design approval
Scope you do own:
- execution clarity
- timelines
- stakeholder communication
- knowledge sharing & alignment
- steer the right information to the right people at the right time and routing blockers to the right decision-maker
What Success Looks Like in 30 Days
- Teams express clarity and confidence in who is doing what by when
- Top initiatives have honest status in one place with a lightweight RAID/issues habit and clean escalations
- Kickoffs / decision forums and a few templates (decision log exec rollup) have cut thrash
What Youll Do
- You help catalog structure and assign ownership to new ideas that emerge through RACI/DACI-style clarity.
- Adapt and improve upon existing processes and systems adding lightweight rituals and tools as needed so departments stay organized without drag
- Run cross-functional delivery explicit handoffs across engineering marketing product GTM ops; nothing waits on someone should
- Plan and visualize milestones dependencies critical path; Gantt/roadmap-style views when they help alignment
- Clear blockers and risks early missing inputs conflicts externals; escalate with tradeoffs when leadership must decide
- Facilitate planning and decision meetings; keep them outcome-oriented
- Operating rhythm agendas async updates retros/postmortems when useful; documentation that outlasts the meeting
- Vendors/tooling coordinate outside help and sensible tool onboarding where it speeds the org
- AI stack accelerate docs plans and comms; protect quality and sensitive info
What Were Looking For
Must have
- Mid-senior experience (5 years) in PM program or ops execution in fast ambiguous environments
- Startup/high-growth comfort
- Highly organized you model systems others can actually follow
- Technical literacy tickets/specs high-level eng/product discussion sharp questions
- Remote stack fluency for async collaboration e.g. Slack Notion Linear/Jira ClickUp
Nice to have
- Software developer/engineering experience (you are not here to ship product code)
