Cromwell Property Group is seeking a Junior IT Support Technician to join our Brisbane IT Team. Our ideal candidate will be IT savvy with the capability to follow instructions and procedures to ensure the completion of tasks. Your success in this role will include providing customer service (internal or external). This role is ideal for a student due to our close proximity to public transport and university campuses.

This position offers a flexible schedule of up to 20 hours per week tailored to fit your university timetable within the operational hours of 9 AM to 5 PM. Additionally the Head of Information Technology may approve extra hours during holiday periods.

About the Role

The Junior IT Support Technician is a casual position.

Reporting to the Head of Information Technology (HoIT) you will provide advanced IT support and systems administration services to all Cromwell users through efficient and effective stakeholder relationships ensuring infrastructure services are secure and impact to users is minimal.

• Maintain ownership of the IT Helpdesk support queue and triage requests.

• Resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 Helpdesk requests as required and provide overflow support to Junior IT Support staff.

• Work with the IT Team and HoIT to ensure 8am -5.30pm coverage of the IT Helpdesk.

• Assist the Infrastructure and Applications Team to implement operational and procedural efficiencies within the IT environment.

• Ensure the responsibilities outlined in the Information Securities Roles document (EDMS# ) are promoted and adhered to throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
