Job Summary
General Summary of Position:
The applicant will research the characteristics and drivers of New England wildfires in observational data. This will involve collecting and analyzing U.S. Forest Service wildfire incident datasets and a suite of weather and climate datasets. Results will be visualized synthesized and communicated in a manuscript.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Requirements for the position include an atmospheric Science B.S. degree as well as strong familiarity with Python and standard climate packages and analysis techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with wildfire weather and climate. Evidence of strong scientific writing and communication skills.

This is a part-time temporary non-unit non-benefited position.
