Job Summary
The HCM Business Analyst supports the functional administration and continuous improvement of Oracle HCM Cloud with equal focus on Core HCM and Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC). This role works closely with HR Operations Talent Acquisition and HRIS team members to support system configurations improve business processes and enhance the user experience through tools such as Oracle Journeys and Oracle Guided Learning (OGL).
Responsibilities
Oracle HCM Core Support
Assist with functional support for Core HCM processes including worker lifecycle events job and position data and organizational structures
Support configuration updates such as lookups flexfields workflows and basic security roles
Assist with testing and validation of quarterly Oracle updates and system enhancements
Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) Support
Provide functional support for Oracle Recruiting processes including requisitions job postings candidate lifecycle and job offers
Assist with maintaining recruiting phases states task definitions and action reasons
Support testing related to recruiting enhancements and process changes
Journeys & Employee Experience
Assist in creating and maintaining Oracle Journeys for onboarding and employee self-service experiences.
Help monitor Journey completion and address functional issues
Partner with HR teams to translate HR processes into system-enabled tasks
Oracle Guided Learning (OGL)
Support the development and maintenance of Oracle Guided Learning content across HCM and Recruiting
Update in-application guidance to reflect system and process changes
Assist in improving system adoption through clear role-based guidance
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of HRIS experience
Strong knowledge of information systems and HR-related information technology including Oracle HCM and Oracle Recruiting Cloud
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience with Oracle Journeys and Oracle Guided Learning
Must be organized detail-oriented and have strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be action oriented quick to start initiatives and take the lead
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-starter that possesses a desire to seek optimal solutions and share discovery with colleagues
Foundational understanding of HR and recruiting processes
Good understanding of HR and IT security and controls
Oracle HCM Cloud and ORC implementation/support experience a plus
