Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee end-to-end supply chain operations ensuring timely and cost-effective fulfillment of organizational needs.
- Develop implement and continuously improve supply chain strategies policies and procedures in line with best practices and organizational objectives.
- Manage procurement processes including sourcing tendering bid evaluation contract negotiation and supplier selection ensuring transparency and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure reliability quality and value for money.
- Oversee logistics transportation and warehousing operations to ensure efficient inventory management storage and distribution
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies regulatory requirements and international standards in all supply chain activities.
- Identify risks within the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and prepare regular reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align supply chain activities with operational and project needs.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality safety or service delivery standards.
- Ensure proper contract management including performance monitoring renewals and compliance with agreed terms.
- Promote the use of technology and digital tools to enhance efficiency visibility and data-driven decision-making in supply chain operations.
- Manage suppliers relationships and audit to optimize supplier portfolio with the Quality representative.
Qualifications :
Requirements (Education/Training/Experience)
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related discipline. A masters degree (MSc) in a relevant field is desirable.
- Additional certifications and/or diplomas in Supply Chain Management or related areas will be considered an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years overall professional experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management with least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience in a marine organization is considered a strong advantage.
