The QC Inspector II performs inspections on incoming products and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all job duties in full accordance with Worldwide Policies on Information Asset Protection.
  • Maintain passwords as confidential and protect Critical Business Information.
  • Understand incorporate and comply with all applicable laws regulations and internal policies related to DePuys business activities.
  • Adhere to the Health Care Compliance Program policies and Code of Conduct.
  • Complete routine inspections using applicable sampling plans and control plans to verify that products and services conform to quality engineering and Quality Assurance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records filing systems and documentation in compliance with quality standards and GMP regulations.
  • Perform sterile release activities including review of documentation and products as assigned.
  • Initiate nonconformance records for products that do not meet specifications.
  • Communicate businessrelated issues and improvement opportunities to the next level of management.
  • Take initiative to address problems and contribute to quality and operational improvements.
  • Follow all Company guidelines related to Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) practices.
  • Ensure personal and Company compliance with all Federal State local and Company regulations policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience is required.
  • Experience in inspection manufacturing or operations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of standard inspection techniques and tools (e.g. calipers micrometers) is required.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation and application.
  • Ability to perform handson troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Strong analytical communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interact with influence and lead crossfunctional and crossbusiness unit teams.
  • Strong tactical planning execution and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and innovative problemsolving in a fastpaced changing business environment.
  • Resultsdriven decisive proactive and responsive.
