Location: Warsaw office
Position Summary
The Inventory & Revenue Accountantis responsible formanaging analyzing and accurately reporting all financial activities related to inventory cost of goods sold (COGS) and revenue recognition. This role ensures integrity of financial records supports monthly and quarterly close processes and collaborates closely with Supply Chain Operations Sales and FP&A to delivertimelyand reliable financial information
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Accounting
Monitor reconcile and analyze inventory balances.
Perform monthlyinventoryclose activities including journal entries accruals reclasses and variance analysis.
Review andvalidateinventory transactions (receipts adjustments transferswriteoffs).
Partner with Operations to perform cycle counts physical counts and investigate discrepancies.
Revenue Accounting
Process reconcile andvalidaterevenue transactionsin accordance withUS GAAP.
Preparemonthendrevenue journals deferrals accruals and reconciliations.
Monitor sales orders shipmentsinvoicing and returns to ensureaccuratecutoff and completeness.
Work with Sales and Commercial teams to evaluaterevenueimpacts of promotions programs and customer agreements.
Financial Reporting & Controls
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for inventory deferred revenue and related accounts.
Ensure compliance with internal controls accounting policies and audit requirements.
Support internal and external audits providing schedules documentation and explanations.
Qualifications
University degree preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economy or similar.
3 years of experience in accounting ideally with exposure to inventory cost accounting or revenue processes.
Experience with ERP systems
Advanced Excel skills and strong analyticalabilities.
Very goodlevel of written and spoken English (knowledge of any otherlanguagewill be anadvantage)
