Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility:
Fixed asset junioraccountantreports to European Manager ofAccount Payable and Fixed Assetandis responsible formaintainingaccurateasset records processingadditionsand disposalsassistingwithmonthendclose activities and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
Maintain the fixed asset register ensuringtimelyandaccuraterecording of asset additions transfers disposals and retirements.
Process capitalization of assets according to company policy and accounting standards.
Assistwith calculation and posting of monthly depreciation and amortization.
Ensure proper classification of assets (e.g. machinery IT equipment furniture leasehold improvements).
Support monthly close activities related to fixed assets including journal entries reconciliations and depreciation postings.
Prepare schedules and analysis for balance sheet accounts related to fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.
Assistin preparing reports for internal stakeholders auditors and management.
Preferred Qualifications:
University degree preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economy or similar
At least1 years of experience within SSC environment inarelated process area and/or accounting
Knowledge of ERP systems
Very goodlevel of written and spoken English (knowledge ofadditionallanguages is an advantage)
Strong willingness to learn and develop
