Technical Sales & Specification Manager

Sika Corporation is seeking a dynamic technically skilled professional to lead the growth of our Sikalastic Liquid-Applied Membrane (LAM) systems in the Los Angels CA area. This role blends technical expertise specification influence contractor training and sales enablement to drive market expansion and ensure successful project execution.

Specific Responsibilities:  

• Develop and influence specifications with architects engineers and consultants.
• Identify and grow opportunities in roofing plaza decks and restoration markets.
• Support sales reps with project acquisition pricing technical guidance and closure.
• Deliver AIA-accredited and technical presentations.
• Train internal sales teams and distribution partners on LAM systems and value-based selling.
• Build strong relationships with contractors and conduct hands-on installation training.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Windows Applications such as Word Excel Power Point and Outlook             
• Technical understanding of roofing waterproofing and building envelope systems
• Ability to read plans/specs and recommend system solutions
• Strong presentation communication and consultative selling skills
• Comfort working on jobsites and solving real-world installation challenges
• Collaborative mindset aligned with Sikas One Sika culture
