About the role

As a Enterprise Risk Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening the companys risk culture and governance. Acting as a trusted Risk Partner to Senior Management you will collaborate closely with executive leaders to provide transparency on material risks drive sound decision-making and ensure a robust control environment across MS Reinsurance.

Your responsibilities

• Act as the primary risk partner to assigned business areas leading the RCSA process endtoend challenging supporting and advising senior stakeholders.
• Promote strong risk ownership by delivering targeted training facilitating workshops and driving continuous improvement through actions controls and risk event management.
• Lead highquality risk reporting for assigned business areas for internal management the Supervisory Board and regulatory bodies ensuring clarity insight and alignment with strategic priorities.
• Conduct risk reviews bringing an independent perspective and constructive challenge.
• Support the risk governance framework including the development and maintenance of risk policies standards and committee deliverables.
• Shape the future of risk management by working together with the Head of ERM to build and embed an emerging risk framework integrating external insights and forming wellarticulated forwardlooking risk views.
• Support the development and maintenance of the Companys GRC system.
• Providing supporting materials for any required responses to regulatory approval bodies.
• Lead Risk Project activities if required.

Your profile

• Strong background in operational risk and controls within Risk or Internal Audit
• Good understanding of (re)insurance business processes
• 510 years experience in (re)insurance; underwriting experience is a plus
• University degree preferred; additional qualifications beneficial
• Experience in risk and regulatory reporting including ORSA
• Comfortable presenting to Boards and governance forums
• Strong analytical skills and pragmatic problemsolving approach
• Experience working in an international environment
• Excellent communication skills; fluent English required German a plus
• Confident in challenging the first line of defence
• Strong ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders
• Skilled in influencing and negotiation
• Independent wellorganised and commercially minded
• Collaborative team player who challenges constructively
