Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect (AWS) to design architect and lead cloud native solutions at scale. The role requires deep hands on expertise in AWS strong SRE and DevOps practices and proven experience building highly available secure and automated platforms using microservices serverless and Kubernetes (EKS).

Architecture & Design
- Design end to end AWS cloud architectures that are scalable secure resilient and cost optimized
- Define reference architectures for microservices serverless and containerized workloads
- Lead application modernization and cloud migration initiatives
- Perform architecture reviews and ensure alignment with AWS Well Architected Framework
- DevOps & SRE
- Establish and enforce SRE best practices (SLIs SLOs error budgets observability)
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for microservices and serverless workloads
- Improve system reliability availability and performance through automation
- Drive incident management root cause analysis and post mortems
- Containers & Serverless
- Architect and operate Amazon EKS clusters for production workloads
- Design microservices architectures using containers and service to service communication
- Build and scale serverless solutions using AWS Lambda API Gateway EventBridge Step Functions
- Define service discovery ingress and traffic management strategies
- Automation & Infrastructure
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform CloudFormation or CDK
- Automate provisioning configuration scaling and recovery processes
- Optimize deployments using blue green canary and rolling strategies
- Security & Governance
- Architect secure solutions using IAM VPC security groups WAF KMS Secrets Manager
- Enforce security best practices compliance and least privilege access
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Act as a technical leader and mentor for engineering teams
- Collaborate with product engineering and business stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Support pre sales solution reviews and technical decision making
Experience
- 10 years of overall IT experience
- 5 years of hands on AWS cloud architecture experience
- Strong experience in production grade systems at scale
- Deep knowledge of AWS services: EC2 VPC ALB/NLB RDS DynamoDB S3 CloudWatch IAM
- Strong experience with serverless AWS services
- CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions GitLab CI Jenkins Argo CD or similar
- Monitoring & observability: CloudWatch Prometheus Grafana OpenTelemetry
- Strong understanding of reliability engineering concepts
- Hands on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
- Microservices design patterns API design and event driven architectures
- Experience with service mesh is a plus (Istio / App Mesh)
- Terraform / CloudFormation / AWS CDK
- Scripting: Bash Python or similar

- AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect Professional preferred)
- Experience with multi account AWS landing zones
- Exposure to cost optimization and FinOps practices
- Experience in regulated or high availability environments
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
