Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long-Term Acute Care ICU setting. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to critically ill patients requiring extended recovery including ventilator support and complex medical management.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in an LTAC ICU and Med-Surg environment
Monitor and manage ventilated patients and assist with ventilator weaning
Perform wound care and manage complex patient conditions
Care for patients with tracheostomy and PEG tubes
Administer medications and treatments using electronic medication systems
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to other units within skillset as required
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
Minimum 1 year of relevant ICU/LTAC experience
Experience with EPIC EMR (minimum 1 year required)
Strong critical thinking and patient care skills
Certifications:
BLS required
ACLS required
