Pipeline generation across Spanish-speaking LATAM (excluding Brazil) directly influences revenue growth market expansion and customer acquisition at scale. This role owns the strategy and execution behind how new business is created qualified and accelerated shaping the front end of the sales funnel in a cloud and SaaS environment.
This is a key people management role leading a team of approximately 10 Business Development Representatives (BDRs) across a distributed regional structure (Mexico Colombia Chile). You will be responsible for driving performance coaching talent and building a high-impact scalable function.
You will lead a high-performing Business Development organization that drives consistent pipeline creation while elevating prospecting sophistication through data technology and modern engagement close partnership with Sales and Marketing leadership you will influence go-to-market direction improve conversion performance and expand market reach across key LATAM segments.
At Genesys you will contribute to advancing AI-powered customer experience solutions directly impacting how organizations engage with their customers while gaining exposure to regional and global leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead coach and develop a regional team of 10 BDRs ensuring high performance engagement and career progression
- Drive and execute pipeline generation strategy aligned with LATAM revenue goals (excluding Brazil)
- Improve conversion rates and pipeline quality across the entire funnel
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to design and execute account-based and regional go-to-market strategies
- Own pipeline creation metrics forecasting accuracy and performance tracking
- Analyze pipeline data and campaign performance to optimize conversion efficiency and inform strategic decisions
- Build and scale repeatable processes playbooks and enablement programs across a distributed team
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to implement best practices and innovative prospecting approaches
- Foster a culture of accountability professionalism and high performance
- Champion the use of CRM platforms sales tools and data-driven insights
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in SaaS or cloud-based environments within Business Development SDR or Inside Sales functions
- 2 years of experience leading BDR/SDR teams (people management is required)
- Proven track record of generating pipeline and supporting revenue growth through team leadership
- Experience managing regional or distributed teams across LATAM
- Fluent English is required with the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders
- Strong understanding of Spanish-speaking LATAM markets and regional dynamics
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce) and data-driven decision making
- Strong stakeholder management skills across Sales Marketing and leadership teams
- Excellent communication coaching and organizational skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align execution to broader company objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or scaling BDR organizations in multinational environments
- Familiarity with account-based marketing and multi-threaded prospecting strategies
- Experience with modern prospecting and sales engagement tools
- Ability to quickly understand and articulate complex technology solutions
