POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain Commercial Sourcing Advisor role will be providing support to our assets in Mexico. This position will be based in Mexico City.
Lead execute and govern the end-to-end sourcing and contract portfolio for LATAM (primarily Mexico and Peru). This includes complex RFPs (HR payroll corporate events OSE einvoicing operator accounting/tax outsourcing volumetric controllers) contract management (renewals amendments executive summaries) SRM for critical suppliers with regulatory exposure dashboard/tool automation and cross-functional coordination with HR Finance/Tax IT Security Legal and FP&A.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzes data for use in decision-making and actions in support of business strategy. Develops recommendations based on data analysis.
Performs root cause analysis related to supply challenges or disruptions. Develops recommendations based on domestic and foreign market benchmark studies.
Liaises with and influences assigned business unit(s) and stakeholders to optimize the supply base and deliver financial benefits. Actively evaluates business needs to identify opportunities for value creation and risk reduction.
Develops strategic sourcing projects while ensuring business continuity and high level of supplier performance. Ensures sourcing activities are supporting the deployment of best practices. Develops contracting strategies to establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure commercial terms compliance and strategy optimization.
Leads the preparation and negotiation of terms and conditions related to service and/or supply agreements. Manages related rate sheets and ensures cost competitiveness across supplier categories.
Serves in a leading role to maintain contract compliance identify potential risks and develops recommendations to mitigate any potential disruption to operations or internal compliance requirements. Acts as a liaison between legal department and key stakeholders. Maintains master agreements and initiates contract amendments to frame agreements on behalf of supported business unit.
Develops and maintains relationships with key suppliers to ensure compliance regarding service commercial terms and optimal leverage. Develops and tracks KPIs for measuring performance of key suppliers by facilitating periodic meetings with suppliers and stakeholders to review KPIs identify potential risks and establish corrective plans as needed.
Serves as the first line point of contact for concerns related to operational needs and Supply Chain support either internally (stakeholders) and externally (suppliers) and across different operational functions.
Utilizes Supply Chain tools templates and systems as prescribed by the Supply Chain function such as Microsoft Office Suite SAP Tableau PowerBi or similar. Collaborates with Supply Chain peers to drive continuous improvement alignment and best-in-class process optimization. Possesses comprehension and interpretation of internal Supply Chain policies and procedures and is able to adapt these to ensure compliance in the local markets in which the Supply Chain function operates.
Receives and reviews purchase requisitions for materials and services for completeness and proper level of approval. Evaluates competitive bids and quotations against purchase order commitments. Generates purchase orders and tracks the delivery of materials and services based on established terms and conditions. Tracks purchase orders balances to ensure available funds during the purchase order life-cycle; ensures purchase orders are closed once the specific transaction is completed. Identifies and resolves purchase order and invoice discrepancies working in collaboration with the warehouse coordinator and stakeholders to ensure timely goods and services receipt and payment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree required.
Four (4) or more years of Supply Chain or business relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience leading projects endtoend (strategy through execution and postimplementation support)
Experience working in highly demanding executivefacing environments.
Handson experience developing scope of work contracts and vendor agreements.
Fluency (speaking and writing) in both Spanish and English is required.
American B1/B2 Visa is required.
