For the rank of Assistant Professor: Ph.D. in Humanities or a related field. Evidence of a scholarly focus and research in an area of Digital Humanities. Evidence of or potential for excellence in teaching and mentoring students. Evidence of or potential to obtain external funding. For the rank of Associate Professor: Ph.D. in Humanities or a related field. Evidence of a scholarly focus and research excellence in an area of Digital Humanities. Evidence of excellence in teaching and mentoring students. Evidence of obtaining external funding. For the rank of Professor Ph.D. in Humanities or a related field. Evidence of a scholarly focus and sustained record of research excellence in an area of Digital Humanities. Evidence of sustained record of excellence in teaching and mentoring students. Evidence of a sustained record of obtaining external funding.
Preferred Qualifications
An applicants qualifications will be evaluated proportionate with time since completion of the Ph.D. Preference will be given to applicants with the following: Evidence of activity in organizing conferences and sessions in Digital Humanities including Artificial Intelligence. Record of successful application of digital tools and methodologies for humanistic inquires (e.g. text mining digital mapping data visualization). Experience in teaching and mentoring both undergraduate and graduate students. Strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration. Evidence of community engagement for scholarship and teaching.
