Job Summary

Pinetown. An exciting opportunity exists for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join an established company supplying branded and private label household and food packaging products to retailers and food industry. This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional with proven experience in the FMCG sector who is passionate about sustainability and business growth.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and analyse market trends to identify new opportunities industries and strategic partnerships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities
  • Generate and qualify leads through cold calling networking and industry events
  • Manage the full sales pipeline from initial engagement through to negotiation and deal closure
  • Collaborate with Sales Marketing and Product Development teams to align growth strategies
  • Monitor market conditions and competitor activity
  • Track sales performance and provide accurate forecasting and reporting
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Sales Marketing Finance or a related field (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience within the FMCG sector
  • Strong analytical communication negotiation and strategic planning skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed KPIs
  • Valid drivers licence with a reliable vehicle and cell phone
