Job Summary

Weareseeking an experiencedFutures Operations Supervisor (ETD)to join a leading global financial institution within its ExchangeTraded Derivatives Operations function. This senior handson role is critical to the smooth daytoday running offuturesclearing operations providing operational oversight subjectmatterexpertise and leadership support within a highvolume timesensitive environment.

This position requires aminimum of 5 years of directly relevantfuturesclearing experienceandmandatory registration as Eurex Qualified Back Office Staff (QBO) or Qualified Clearing Staff (QCS). The role sits at the heart of BAU delivery issue resolution and continuous improvement acting as a key escalation point while supporting junior team members and operational resilience.

Hybrid model / onsite for 34 days per week

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee and actively contribute to daily futures and ETD clearing operations ensuring BAU processes are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Provide functional leadership and guidance to analysts supporting development knowledge transfer and taskprioritisation.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex trade reconciliation margin and clearinghouse related issues.
  • Ensure all exchangetraded derivatives are processedallocated and reconciled in line with internal controls and exchange requirements.
  • Perform and oversee daily cash and position reconciliations investigating and resolving breaks and escalating whereappropriate.
  • Monitor unmatched trades brokerage fails andkerbtrades ensuringtimelyfollowup and resolution.
  • Maintain and oversee static data across core systems including GMI ATEO/LISAClearvision SEALS and Eurex GUI.
  • Supportonboarding ofnew business products and markets with minimal disruption to BAU activity.
  • Identifyoperational inefficiencies and recommend or implement process control and automation improvements.
  • Escalate operational risks and issues promptly and clearly to management.
  • Contribute to succession planning knowledge coverage and team resilience.

The Ideal Candidate Will Bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years of handson directly relevant experience infuturesclearing or ETD operations(essential).
  • Current registration as Eurex Qualified Back Office Staff (QBO) or Qualified Clearing Staff (QCS)(mandatory).
  • Strong working knowledge offuturestrade lifecycle clearing processes margining and exchange controls.
  • Practical experience across multiple ETD operational systems such as GMI ATEO/LISA SEALSClearvision CME FEC and Eurex GUI.
  • Strongorganisational troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills withconfidenceengaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure in a deadlinedriven environment.
  • Solid Microsoft Excel and Officeproficiency.
  • Experience contributing to process reengineering efficiency initiatives or control enhancements.
