We are seeking a detail-oriented Physical Security Auditor responsible for conducting audits and assessments to ensure compliance with client security policies and organizational standards. The role involves evaluating physical security controls identifying gaps supporting information security practices and contributing to Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and emergency preparedness.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Security Management

  • Ensure implementation and adherence to client-specific physical security policies and procedures.

  • Conduct regular physical security audits (daily/weekly/monthly) as per client and organizational requirements.

  • Assess effectiveness of controls such as access management CCTV monitoring alarm systems and perimeter security.

  • Verify compliance with client policies regulatory requirements and standards like ISO 27001 (physical security controls)

  • Identify security gaps risks and non-compliances; document findings with evidence.

  • Track and follow up on audit observations to ensure timely closure of corrective actions.

  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to stakeholders

Client Compliance & Audit Support

  • Ensure site readiness for internal and external audits (e.g. ISO 27001 client audits).

  • Maintain documentation and evidence related to physical security controls.

  • Identify gaps and coordinate remediation actions within defined timelines.

  • Review access control logs visitor records and incident logs for anomalies.

  • Validate functioning of security systems (CCTV fire alarms access control systems).

  • Ensure proper guarding practices and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Information Security Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with organizational and client Information Security policy.

  • Support protection of sensitive information by enforcing clean desk and clear screen policies.

  • Monitor unauthorized access attempts to restricted areas containing critical information assets.

  • Assist in reporting and escalation of security incidents (physical information security).

  • Ensure secure handling and disposal of confidential documents and media.

Business Continuity & Emergency Response (BCP)

  • Audit readiness and effectiveness of BCP and emergency response mechanisms.

  • Verify availability and functionality of emergency systems (fire alarms extinguishers emergency exits).

  • Ensure compliance with crisis management procedures and incident response protocols.

  • Provide recommendations to strengthen resilience and recovery capabilities.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain audit checklists reports and evidence records.

  • Document non-conformities observations and risk ratings.

  • Share periodic audit summaries (daily/weekly/monthly) with management.

  • Ensure proper documentation for audit trails and compliance reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Security Risk Compliance or related field.

  • 35 years of experience in physical security audits / security operations.

  • Working knowledge of security systems (CCTV access control alarms).

  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 or similar compliance frameworks (preferred).

  • Ability to perform independent audits and surprise inspections

  • Willingness to work in shifts / multiple site locations if required

  • Strong integrity and confidentiality
