We are seeking an experienced Flutter Android Developer to join our Melbourne-based team.
You will be responsible for developing enhancing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications using Flutter primarily targeting the Android platform. This role requires close collaboration with product design and backend teams and regular in-office engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain mobile applications using Flutter for Android platforms
Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into high-quality scalable code
Ensure application performance security and responsiveness
Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
Collaborate with Product Managers Designers and Backend Engineers
Participate in code reviews and improve development standards
Support application releases and ongoing maintenance
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
34 years of professional experience in mobile application development
Strong hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart
Solid understanding of Android development concepts and lifecycle
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
Understanding of state management app architecture and performance optimisation
Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
Prior experience working on Lottery Gaming or Regulated Industry applications
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Additional Requirements
Willingness to work from the Melbourne office at least 3 days per week
Australian working rights are mandatory
