Based at our training centre in Airport West the Courseware Developer plays a key role in designing and delivering contemporary engaging and cost-effective training for cabin crew and pilots across topics including Safety Emergency Procedures and Dangerous Goods. Youll develop courseware materials based on training objectives and assessment of learning needs bringing our training programs to life through great design clever problem solving and a passion for innovative learning while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

In this role youll help develop the learner user experience journey by analysing the appropriate learning delivery modes as well as identifying opportunities to integrate learning technology and systems. You will also get a chance to design assessment processes and identify opportunities to enhance training effectiveness.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Developing online and face to face delivered courseware that is compliant with International Federal and Jetstar policy and regulation.
• Enhancing the overall training experience through innovative training design and delivery methodology and strategies
• Creating session plans training modules theoretical and practical assessments and a syllabus that aligns with industry best practices
• Conducting training reviews in line with Jetstar requirements.
• Developing and conducting train the trainer courses with intent to coach & mentor instructors and provide development opportunities through regular training sessions

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills with an innate ability to work things out independently
• Experience with Articulate software beneficial or the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Strong time management skills and the ability to effectively prioritise a busy workload
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Previous flying experience and knowledge of aviation safety principles is advantageous
