What Youll Own
This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing all 2nd shift operations including:
- Window fabrication & assembly
- Glass operations
- Materials & loading
- Maintenance teams
You wont be sitting behind a deskyoull be driving performance where it matters most.
What Youll Do
- Lead Daily Performance: Drive results across Safety Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC) with a continuous improvement mindset
- Champion Safety: Build and reinforce a culture where safety is non-negotiable
- Be Present on the Floor (Gemba): Observe engage and solve problems in real time
- Solve Problems That Matter: Use structured problem-solving (PDCA) to eliminate root causesnot just symptoms
- Develop People: Coach supervisors team leads and operators into stronger leaders
- Drive Lean Transformation: Embed Lean principles into everyday operations
- Own the Culture: Deliver clear communication accountability and alignment across departments
- Execute with Urgency: Manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing Business or related field
- 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing
- 23 years leading teams in a Lean Manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to drive safety performance and accountability
- Strong problem-solving mindset with experience in structured methodologies
- Ability to lead from the floornot just the office
- A coach mentor and motivator who builds high-performing teams
