Job Summary
As the Corporate Responsibility Specialist youll support the corporate responsibility team with the day-to-day operations of corporate responsibility & sustainability (CR&S) reporting including the annual CR&S report 10-K proxy investor inquiries and surveys ratings and rankers. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect aggregate and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support Best Buys reputation as a leader in corporate responsibility & sustainability. This role directly contributes to protecting and enhancing the companys reputation by reporting to a varied and wide stakeholder audience on the strong performance of the company across corporate responsibility topics.
This role is hybrid which means you will be required to work on site at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield Minnesota on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What youll do
- Coordinate documentation project tracking and stakeholder engagement to support accurate timely CR&S reporting.
- Manage crossfunctional projects including external surveys highrisk vendor research and key leader priorities.
- Benchmark industry reports and support research on CR&S reporting trends and best practices.
- Maintain CR&S resources templates stakeholder lists and support meeting coordination and OKR processes.
- Support Responsible Sourcing through vendor vetting and ensure CR&S content remains accurate across internal and external channels.
Basic qualifications
- 1 year of coordinating large-scale projects or projects extending over a 6-12 month timeframe
- 1 year of experience collecting and organizing data
- 6 months of experience coordinating work across multiple teams or stakeholders in a collaborative environment
- Foundational knowledge of key ESG landscape topics such as human capital management sustainability governance and reporting frameworks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
