Job Summary
General Summary:
The Classroom Composition Facilitator reports to the Associate Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction and provides classroom support services as requested.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and consult with building principals and teachers in an attempt to develop classroom composition resolutions at the site.
- Serve as a resource for individual teachers working on classroom composition concerns.
- Complete all paperwork to process a classroom composition concern.
- Meet with the Classroom Composition Committee (could include teacher/principal) representing the classroom needs.
- Serve as a resource person to the Classroom Composition Committee.
- Serve as a resource person to individual teachers as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:
- Minimum of four years successful teaching experience.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with high needs students in inclusive settings.
- Observation skills/background.
