What will you be doing in your role
Engage & Cultivate Relationships
Advocate and promote the value of hiring Veterans.
Develop partnerships with local employers and community partners to identify job openings suitable for military-affiliated candidates.
Consistently develop your knowledge about employment openings in all sectors.
Provide Assessment & Conduct Intakes
- Build trust and rapport with veterans active-duty service members and military families to understand their employment needs.
- Work closely with program staff while maintaining autonomy in planning and executing initiatives.
Resource Planning
- Build rapport with clients to determine skills sets.
- Match candidates with appropriate roles based on skills experience and career goals.
Case Management Services
- Develop individualized service plans with each client helping them see a path toward their future.
- Provide resume assistance interview preparation career guidance and resources tailored to military transitions.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of employer contacts job placements and client progress.
- Meet or exceed your individual metrics and contribute to team goals.
Are you the next Veterans Career Development Case Manager
- Bachelors degree in a related field OR a combination of education and experience required.
- Experience working with military-affiliated populations (veterans spouses transitioning service members) preferred.
- Experience in job development business networking and case management preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation a current Texas drivers license and evidence of auto liability insurance.
- Ability to travel within a 100-mile radius of Wichita Falls.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with local labor market and veteran employment resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Full-time position with a starting hourly rate of $20 based on minimum job requirements. Pay is determined by relevant experience work history education and internal equities.
