Job Summary

Summary
Supports the design team in creating testing and producing corrugated packaging while gaining hands-on experience in packaging design specifications and workflows. This position is set up to train under an experienced Design and transition to full-time after training.

Summary
Supports the design team in creating testing and producing corrugated packaging while gaining hands-on experience in packaging design specifications and workflows. This position is set up to train under an experienced Design and transition to full-time after training.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in designing corrugated packaging products under supervision.
- Support spec creation and updates for customer items.
- Learn and assist with testing processes including stacking analysis and compression performance.
- Help prepare cape layouts and workflow documentation.
- Assist in ordering and tracking cutting dies.
- Collaborate with design sales and production teams to support project execution.
- Maintain organized documentation and design files.
- Participate in training to develop knowledge of corrugated materials design software and industry standards.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certificate in packaging design engineering or a related field.
Required Skills / Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with design software is a plus
- Positive attitude and eagerness to develop technical skills
