Learning & Development Intern

The AI &ProcessAutomation Summer Intern supports the Supply Chain organization byidentifying evaluating and developing AI-driven and automation-enabled solutions to improve operational efficiency visibility and decision-making across supply chain processes. The role focuses on researching emerging AI capabilities and automation tools developing proof-of-concept AI agents and supporting digital transformation initiatives related tologistics procurement inventory and project execution

The intern will partner with Supply ChainLogisticsDigitalandDataAnalytics teamsto design and implement innovative solutions using AI platforms and workflow automation technologies. Typical projects may include developing AI agents tofacilitatelogisticsstatus updates automate project reporting tracklogisticscosts reconcile transportation expenses against projects and improve access to operational data and insights.

This role is ideal for a highly motivated and technically skilled student interested in artificial intelligence automation software development and digital transformation within supply chain operations.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

Dependingon the period of the internship and business priorities the primary job functions will include all or part of the following:

• Research and evaluate AI capabilities copilots large language models (LLMs) and automation tools applicable to supply chain operations.

• Develop AI agents and workflow automations to supportlogistics procurement inventory and project management activities.

• Design automation workflows to streamline reporting status updates data reconciliation and operational tracking.

• Build prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions using AI and automation platforms.

• Collaborate with Supply Chain and IT stakeholders toidentifyopportunities for process optimization and digital innovation.

• Support testing troubleshooting deployment and documentation of automation and AI solutions.

• Create user guides process documentation and demonstrations for developed tools and workflows.

• Otherstasks as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

AI & Automation Development

• Understand complex requirements and develop AI-enabled toolsand agentsto support supply chain business processes.

• Configure and test automation workflows using platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate UiPath or similar technologies.

• Explore integration opportunities between AI tools and enterprise systems databases or reporting platforms.

• Assistin developing dashboards status reporting tools and automated notifications forlogisticsand project tracking.

Digital Innovation & Process Improvement

• Analyze current supply chain workflows andidentifyopportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.

• Support initiatives related tologisticsvisibility project tracking invoice reconciliation and operational reporting.

• Research emerging AI technologies and provide recommendations on potential business use cases.

• Contribute ideas and innovative approaches to improve user experience and operational effectiveness.

Collaboration Testing & Support

• Work closely with Supply Chain Digital and IT teams to gather requirements andvalidatebusiness needs.

• Participate in solution testing debugging and continuous improvement activities.

• Document technical processes automation logic and user instructions.

• Present project updates demonstrations and recommendations to stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors orMasters degree in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering Data Science or a related technical field.

• Strong interest in artificial intelligence automation digital transformation and supply chain operations.

• Familiarity or hands-on experience with AI and automation platforms such as:

• Microsoft Copilot

• ChatGPTClaudeGemini

• Microsoft Power Automate

• UiPath

• Other workflow automation or AI development tools

• Basic understanding of software development concepts APIs scripting or workflow logic is preferred.

• Familiarity withSAP Materials Management module a plus

• Familiarity withlogistics procurement or supply chain processes is a plus but strong digital and technical skills are more important.
