Easterseals Florida is seeking a flexible and energetic Floating Teacher to support classrooms and daily operations in our early childhood center. This role ensures smooth center operations by stepping in wherever help is needed most.

What Youll Do
Support multiple classrooms and age groups assisting teachers with supervision activities routines and one-on-one support when needed
Implement daily schedules and lead activities when covering for teacher breaks or absences ensuring a safe nurturing learning environment
Monitor and restock classroom supplies (cleaning items gloves formula baby food etc.) and communicate low inventory to leadership
Provide front desk coverage by greeting families answering phones documenting attendance and processing payments
Assist with meal service by plating and delivering meals to classrooms
Help with laundry tasks such as washing sheets and blankets
Support general office needs including posting notices filing preparing enrollment packets and other tasks as assigned
Maintain confidentiality follow Easterseals privacy standards and uphold our mission values and behavioral expectations
Promote a clean safe work environment and demonstrate flexibility teamwork and commitment to self-development
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; CDA preferred
Completion of Florida DCF 45-hour Child Care Training
At least one year of early childhood experience
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build positive relationships with children families and staff
Willingness to learn DCF standards ASQ Conscious Discipline and developmentally appropriate practices
