Role Overview
- Responsible for designing developing and testing embedded software for vehicle controller systems.
- Works on moderate to complex engineering projects contributing to system architecture and integration.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality embedded solutions.
- Drives innovation in tools workflows and automation within the embedded development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design develop and test embedded software systems
- Perform requirements analysis architecture design and integration
- Develop features using C/C for embedded operating systems
- Build tools and utilities using C#
- Create automation frameworks and scripts using Python
- Conduct controller integration testing and validation
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
- Maintain technical documentation and standards
- Analyze and resolve system issues (root cause analysis)
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
- Deliver small to mid-scale projects within timelines
Must Have
- Strong experience in embedded software development (C/C)
- Experience with object-oriented programming (C#)
- Knowledge of embedded systems lifecycle
- Experience with Python scripting / automation
- Understanding of CAN protocols (J1939 ISO 14229 Automotive Ethernet)
- Experience with build tools (GNU Make)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with AUTOSAR or embedded OS platforms
- Experience with low-level drivers / hardware interaction
- Knowledge of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems
- Experience in Agile development environments
- Exposure to tool development and workflow optimization
- Domain experience in automotive or heavy equipment
- Leadership or mentoring experience
