Job Summary
Senior Microsoft Purview Implementation Specialist
Role Overview
The Senior Microsoft Purview Implementation Specialist will lead the design and execution of enterprise data governance data protection and compliance solutions using Microsoft Purview. This role will focus on helping organizations operationalize data classification sensitivity labeling data loss prevention and information lifecycle management across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
The resource will work closely with security risk legal and data teams to ensure Purview capabilities are implemented in a way that supports regulatory requirements minimizes data exposure risk and enables secure data consumption across analytics and AI platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of Microsoft Purview for data discovery classification labeling and governance
- Design and configure sensitivity labels DLP policies and information protection controls
- Integrate Purview with Microsoft Fabric Power Platform M365 and third-party data platforms
- Define governance operating models onboarding processes and control enforcement strategies
- Support audits and assessments by mapping Purview controls to regulatory and compliance frameworks
Key Skills & Abilities
- Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview (Data Map Information Protection DLP Insider Risk)
- Strong understanding of data governance privacy and regulatory compliance concepts
- Experience with hybrid multi-cloud and SaaS data environments
- Ability to translate policy and compliance requirements into technical controls
- Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
