Overview

Our client in the logistics industry is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Head of Industrial Projects to lead strategic business development and oversee the successful execution of complex high-value projects. The role focuses on driving revenue growth expanding market presence and building strong client relationships while ensuring operational excellence and alignment with business objectives.

Strategic Growth & Business Development

• Develop and execute industrial project strategies plans and processes to achieve targeted customer growth retention and revenue objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research industry analysis and targeted marketing initiatives.
• Conduct market and feasibility studies to assess potential opportunities and evaluate target customer segments.
• Initiate and manage contact with prospective clients identifying key decision-makers and understanding their strategic business needs.

Sales & Client Engagement

• Translate customer requirements into tailored service solutions aligned with logistics and forwarding capabilities.
• Generate and develop leads conduct pre-proposal meetings and prepare high-level complex proposals.
• Lead negotiations and close deals with key stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and key accounts including engagement at executive levels.
• Establish relationships with non-buying accounts identified as strategic targets.

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Oversee the execution of industrial projects to ensure delivery aligns with client expectations and organizational goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams and senior management to coordinate customer solutions and service delivery.
• Work closely with leadership teams to align on strategic initiatives and customer engagement approaches.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends customer behavior and competitor activities.
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance service offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
• Monitor industry developments to identify risks and opportunities for growth.

Reporting & Performance Management

• Prepare and deliver high-quality sales presentations and proposals to senior stakeholders.
• Track performance against targets budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on pipeline development project progress and market insights.

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics Supply Chain or a related field
