Relationship Manager – Realty Business Finance with Large Private Bank

Job Purpose

Origination execution and monitoring of all real estate project financing / bridge loan financing and commercial warehousing financing transactions in the respective geographies.

Locations - Bangalore Chennai and Mumbai

Job Responsibilities

• Lead real estate project finance / bridge finance for the bank in respective geography
• Acquire new-to-bank clients and manage existing bank relationships in the geography in the real estate sector
• Work closely with leading developers / corporates for their fund raising / project funding requirements and develop strong direct relationships with their top management
• Manage all financing transactions end-to-end
• Responsibilities will include sourcing due-diligence credit evaluation seeking approvals ensuring satisfaction of CPs prior to signing of agreements and prior to disbursement managing all post disbursement responsibilities
• Lead all negotiations with the clients and intermediaries
• Lead syndication process if so necessary for any transaction
• Review and finalize project agreements with legal counsel
• Closely monitor the loan address challenges if any and highlight any early warning signals
• Lead the banks relationship and deepen the relationship by promoting other corporate / retail banking products and services of the bank
• Maintain and enforce high levels of compliance standards.

Educational Qualifications

• Graduation: Civil Engineering
• Candidate must possess MBA/CA/ICWA/CFA with relevant experience

Key Skills

• MBA/CA from premiere institute
• Upto 7 to 18yrs experience with a Premier Bank or NBFC
• Strong understanding of Real Estate project financing and bridge loan financing for under-construction residential projects and commercial warehouses
• Demonstrated experience of originating business and managing relationships with real estate developers in Mumbai / New Delhi / Chennai
• Ability to lead project financing transactions and teams
• Ability to work with all internal stakeholder teams such as credit risk legal accounts and others to ensure proper diligence and close transactions
