Join a growing and innovative neuro oncology team at Carilion Clinic where youll play a meaningful role in shaping a new service line while delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

What Youll Do:

• Provide comprehensive care to neuro oncology patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Split your time between hospital rounding and clinic visits offering continuity of care throughout the patient journey
• Dedicate approximately 50% of your time to direct clinical care
• Spend 50% of your time as a Service Line Coordinator helping develop and grow a new neuro oncology program

What Were Looking For:

• Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with a passion for neuro oncology
• Prior oncology experience preferred but not required
• A collaborative team player excited to contribute to a developing specialty program

Schedule & Work-Life Balance:

• MondayFriday day shift
• No weekends
• No holidays

This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on patient care with program development in a supportive forward-thinking environment.

What We Require:

Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Experience: 0

Licensure/Certification: Current state Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) DEA license and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required or Physician Assistant ( PA) . AHA BLS-HCP certification required. Advanced Life Support certification preferred. Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with State regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine.

Other: Able to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers good written and oral communication skills. Computer literacy required for automated computer systems including electronic medical records.
