Develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from definition and planning through production release and end of life. Helps guide product vision and strategy. Serves as a central resource between Sales support services Engineering Marketing and the customer as product(s) move from design to release. Involved in all stages of the product lifecycle including modifications upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line. Strives to understand customer needs and create game changing technology / product innovations.
ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with key user groups and customers to understand needs devise workable product solutions and help drive development. Works with prospective customers and sales teams on opportunity analysis proposals and bids to address specific customer requirements and identify product capabilities. Participates as a key contributor in all aspects of product lifecycle development including: Analyzing potential product solutions such as product structures pricing scenarios unique differentiators and other information to justify and define product development. Negotiating feature content with various stakeholder groups including Engineering Operations and Marketing. Developing updating and simplifying product development roadmaps. Developing and maintaining product collateral ( For Example FAQs white papers and customer success stories). Performs go-to-market / revenue-generation functions including: Developing and evangelizing product vision features and capabilities. Assisting with pricing and positioning strategy development. Works with product marketing to develop appropriate messaging.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Product Management.
- Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
