Job Summary
We are looking for a Retail Account Manager (RAM) who will be responsible for the overall HP relationship with the assigned retail partners from Romania and Bulgaria and leads the account team where relevant.

The RAM is the central point of contact to the partners management and drives the joint business plan the quarterly activity plan and pipeline management in order to maximize sales and share of business.

The purpose of the role is to make it easy and profitable to resell HP products and establish HP as the preferred vendor within the assigned partners by building and maintaining excellent relationships with all levels within the partners organization with the objective to maximize HP share of business and profitable sales growth. The scope of the role is partner business management for the HP partners focused on the Computing HyperX and Peripherals portfolios.



Responsibilities

  • Become a trusted advisor to Retail partners maintaining and developing strong and long-lasting relationships to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Promotes HP offerings to become a key part of the partners business; Grow HP share of business within assigned partners.
  • Ensure HP presence in both online and offline selling channels of the assigned partners; grow brand visibility & awareness.
  • Implement key initiatives and ensure the execution in line with country business plans.
  • Establishes and maintains account plans to promote sales growth.
  • Achieves assigned quota for HP products services and software.
  • Serves as the expert to the partners for information regarding products services promotions and HP internal tools.
  • Actively engages HP resources and senior executives to build strategic relationships with the partner which ensures long- term business opportunities for HP.
  • Provides the business rationale and risk assessment for making HP investments in the partner.
  • May recruit and develop business relationship with new partners.
  • Ensures partners are compliant with legal and SBC practices.



Education & Experience Recommended

  • Graduate Degree in Sales Marketing Business Administration or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 5-8 years of work experience preferably at end-user account or partner level.
  • Experience selling to partners in a complex environment.
  • Fluent in English.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Solid understanding of the IT industry competing vendors and the channel. Dimensions include competitive positioning.
  • Ability to motivate partners sales force.
  • Coordinates and directs efforts across HP sales teams and across business groups.
  • Strong communication skills; Positive can-do attitude; Customer centric approach.
  • Out of the box thinking able to find solutions.
