Position Summary
A leading technology organization is seeking a Senior Power Analysis Engineer with deep expertise in low-power design and advanced semiconductor flows. This role focuses on end-to-end power analysis from RTL to GDSII optimization and automation using modern tools and data-driven techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive power analysis across the full design lifecycle (RTL to GDSII)
- Identify and resolve power inefficiencies providing actionable feedback to design teams
- Develop and enhance automated power analysis and modeling workflows
- Analyze large datasets for power estimation and optimization
- Collaborate with RTL and physical design teams on low-power implementation strategies
- Contribute to scalable solutions using scripting and ML/AI techniques
Required Qualifications
- 810 years of experience in semiconductor design and power analysis
- Strong expertise in RTL-to-GDSII design flow (7nm or below preferred)
- Experience with low-power design techniques (power gating multi-voltage UPF)
- Hands-on experience with tools such as PrimeTime PX or PrimePower
- Strong programming skills in Python (experience with ML/AI frameworks preferred)
- Solid understanding of RTL design principles
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with synthesis and Place & Route (PnR) flows
- Knowledge of IP-level power analysis and modeling
- Experience with power optimization tools (e.g. PowerArtist)
- Strong background in data analysis and modeling
Education
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or Computer Science (required)
- Masters degree preferred
