Schedule: Full-time Days (Monday Friday) No Weekends

About the Role
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a collaborative and experienced Surgical Services Nurse Manager to lead our Operating Room and supporting departments. This position provides the opportunity to manage a high-performing team in a stable supportive environment with a focus on operational excellence patient safety and staff development.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations and staffing for 10 OR beds including 2 OB beds and 3 DaVinci XI robotic surgical units.
- Team Management: Supervise approximately 50 direct reports and 45 Coordinators across OR Anesthesia Central Sterile and First Assist teams.
- Clinical Excellence: Implement and monitor evidence-based practices to ensure patient safety quality outcomes and compliance with Joint Commission standards.
- Collaboration & Growth: Work closely with the Surgical Services Director and other managers to support the growth of service lines in Orthopedics Bariatrics and Vascular surgery.
- Administrative Oversight: Manage recruitment onboarding performance coaching and address patient or physician concerns.
Qualifications
- Education: Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN) or RN Diploma required; BSN preferred.
- Licensure: Current Tennessee RN license or Compact State licensure.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a surgical setting; prior leadership experience (Charge Nurse Supervisor or Lead) required.
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
