POSITION SUMMARY
TheStrategic Marketing Manageris responsible fordeveloping comprehensive programsthat will drive measurablemarketgrowthfor ERS and roleis responsible foridentifyingtheappropriate segmentationand targets for growthexecuting the marketing strategies needed tobuild awareness and capturesales opportunitiesand collaborating with theSales and Operationstopursue these growth opportunities. This role will also need todeliveragainst budget targetsandmeasureand report onprogramKPIs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate willhave a deep understanding of the marketing lifecycle frommarketanalysis to planning to execution. This roledemonstratesa collaborative approach between sales and marketing andis designed foran innovative self-starter. The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Conductmarket and competitiveresearch and analysistoestablishmarketing strategies and new growth opportunities
- Developmarket segmentation and positioning for areas offocus
- Develop service offeringstocapture market opportunities
- Developand executego-to-market plansthatdeliveragainstspecified business resultsand revenuetargets
- Developmarketing programs to generate sales and drive revenuegrowth
- Serve as subject matter expert of assigned program(s)
- Execute marketing plans thatinclude events public relations social media digitalmarketingand branding
- Establish and deliver against marketing program KPIs
- Create regular reporting cadence for specific marketing performance
- Conduct internal and external customer research to gain insightsfordecision making
- Generaterelevant content for use in thought-leadership and promotional materialsthat advance the brand
- Serveas subject matter expert (SME) for marketing andareas of responsibility
- Present at external events and internal training and meetings
- Deliver sales enablement training and assets to support sales cycle
- Engage with cross-functional teams including corporate marketing legal financeoperationsand sales
- Adhere to all company policies procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Perform other duties asassigned andapplicable
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite( especially PowerPoint AccessWord Outlook)
- Strong written project managementand presentation skills
- Strong communicationskills to all levels of the organization from peers to executive management

- Basedin Westerville OH

- 10%
EDUCATION
- Bachelors degree in MarketingStrategyorrelated fieldrequired--MBA preferred
- Broadbasedunderstanding of marketing is essential. Knowledge of the electrical industryandpower generationmarketis a plus.
- Digital marketing experience is a plus
- Experience withservices marketingor product management
- Experience withPardotandSharepointis a plus
- 10-15 years of experience
