Could you be the Senior Project Contract Manager based at our West Melbourne depot were looking for

Your future role:

As Senior Project Contract Manager you will take on an exciting new challenge and apply your contract management expertise in a dynamic innovative sector. Reporting to the Product Line Project Contract Manager Lead you will collaborate with a talented and diverse team supporting our V/Line maintenance project team (RRSMC). Based at the West Melbourne depot you will undertake a key role in providing contract and commercial guidance to the Project Director and leadership team while leading coaching and mentoring a team - providing hands-on support and guidance as needed.

Well look to you for:

• Delivering high-level commercial and contractual advice to drive project success
• Proactively identifying commercial risks opportunities and value-adding strategies
• Representing the project commercially with confidence in front of our customer
• Partnering closely with the legal team to negotiate and finalise settlements
• Overseeing the preparation and issuance of formal notices correspondence and claims
• Stepping in to support the team with complex contract management tasks when required

All about you:

• Degree in Engineering or Legal is highly regarded
• Highly professional and polished with a proven ability to represent an organisation commercially at senior levels
• Strong track record in developing commercial strategies and spotting contractual risks and opportunities
• Excellent relationship-building skills with the confidence to engage influence and build trust with senior internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience leading coaching and managing teams effectively
• Maintenance services delivery experience in rail transport heavy industry or a closely related sector.
