Job Summary
What Your Day Will Look Like:
Consor Engineers is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure and publicsector projects throughout Utah. This role is responsible for overseeing project planning stakeholder coordination regulatory compliance budgeting and delivery of multidisciplinary engineering projects. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in public infrastructure intergovernmental coordination and executivelevel leadership with the ability to manage highvisibility projects involving municipalities state agencies and regional partners.
What Youll Do:
- Lead and manage largescale infrastructure and public works projects from planning and scoping through delivery and closeout
- Serve as the primary point of contact for municipal state and regional stakeholders ensuring alignment across agencies and governing bodies
- Oversee project budgets schedules and resources ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams consultants and external partners
- Navigate and manage regulatory policy and governance considerations including public approvals and board presentations
- Prepare and present project updates executive summaries and recommendations to public officials boards and senior leadership
- Support strategic planning efforts and longrange infrastructure initiatives
- Contribute to business development efforts including proposal strategy and client relationship management
- Mentor and support project managers and junior team members
What Youll Need:
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive experience managing complex projects preferably within public infrastructure municipal or utility environments
- Proven experience working with local regional and state agencies
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets funding sources and multistakeholder governance structures
- Bachelors degree in engineering Public Administration Business or a related field
- Strong leadership communication and stakeholderengagement skills
- Ability to work effectively with elected officials executive leadership and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications (not required)
- Experience leading or supporting water resources environmental transportation or public infrastructure programs
- Familiarity with Utah municipal structures state agencies and regional authorities
- Masters degree (MPA or related field)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification (preferred not required)
