The role

As a Payroll Administrator you support the smooth and accurate running of payroll processes for one of the UKs most significant engineering and cleanenergy programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a major industrial workforce operation where your attention to detail organisation and peoplefocused approach help ensure thousands of colleagues are paid correctly and on time. Your work contributes directly to the success of a nationally important infrastructure project and gives you handson experience in payroll HR operations workforce systems and data accuracy all of which support your longterm career development.

This role offers 37 hours per week and is based at Hinkley Point C Bridgwater working times are Monday to Friday.

Day-to-day youll be required to:

  • Managing daily payroll activity using Kronos Time and Attendance systems.
  • Acting as the focal point for onsite payroll queries for bluecollar personnel up to Superintendent level.
  • Maintaining and updating payroll trackers including new starters leavers and grade changes.
  • Collecting logging and distributing payroll forms to payroll coordinators.
  • Supporting payroll coordinators with generating payroll reports and accuracy metrics.

Essential experience of the Payroll Administrator:

  • Recent experience working in a fastpaced administrative environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in administration.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of information with strong organisational skills.
  • Confident communicator able to work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Previous payroll experience is not a requirement on the job training will be provided

Qualifications for the Payroll Administrator:

  • Good standard of general education.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.

Security Clearance
