Youll play a key role in keeping our buildings safe welcoming and efficient. From maintaining accurate records and logging maintenance requests to coordinating contractors and supporting audits youll become a goto person for keeping things moving behind the scenes. Youll also get handson experience across our sites helping with room setups parcel deliveries and general upkeep of our grounds.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the grounds and ongoing maintenance at college campuss as directed by the Grounds and Estate Supervisor.
Maintain accurate facilities records logs and documentation
Log maintenance requests and track progress using facilities management systems
Assist with scheduling planned maintenance and contractor visits
Manage facilities email inbox and respond to internal queries professionally
Support the preparation of reports spreadsheets and compliance documents
File certificates inspections and statutory records (e.g. health & safety fire safety).
Assist with booking contractors and issuing permits where required
Help manage contractor signin processes and documentation
Chase quotes invoices and work completion confirmations
Liaise with suppliers under supervision of senior staff
Assist with updating risk assessments and safety documentation
Support audits and inspections by preparing paperwork and records
Help ensure facilities processes follow organisational policies and procedures
Learn workplace systems procedures and best practice with mentoring support
Undertake various porterage duties including room set up moving of furniture equipment and delivery of parcels.
Ensure all personal development and training is kept up to date.

This role may occasionally involve evening or weekend work to support events or maintenance.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
